Ross Shor Lynch is an American singer/songwriter and dancer. Born on December 29, 1995 in Littleton, Colorado to Mark and 'Stormie' Lynch, he is the fourth of five children. At twelve-years-old, his family moved to Los Angeles, California to support his eldest brother's dream of making a career in the entertainment industry. The musically-inclined teenager was taught to play rhythm guitar by his older brother, Rocky Lynch. Along with eldest brother Riker Lynch (who plays bass), the three siblings recruited their sister Rydel Lynch and close friend Ellington Ratliff to play piano and drums in the band that would later be known as "R5". With youngest brother Ryland Lynch as the manager, "R5" has gained a fast growing fan-base in the music industry with their pop/rock vibe.
Ross's personal interests include dancing, singing, gymnastics, and expanding his musical ability. He plays piano, drums, guitar, and is learning to play the violin. He has danced for the "Rage Boyz Crew" in Southern California. He has been on "So You Think You Can Dance" (2005) and has made appearances on shows like "Moises Rules!" (2009), and the movie, Grapple! (2010), with Anton Troy.
Not only is Ross a key member of "R5", but he was also cast as "Austin Moon" on the Disney Channel's "Austin & Ally" (2011). He stars alongside Laura Marano, Raini Rodriguez, and Calum Worthy on the show.
