Weronika Rosati, a Polish actress and dancer, was born on January 9, 1984, in Warsaw, Poland. She has a brother, Marcin, who is 12 years older. Her father, Dariusz Rosati (b. 1946) is a notable Polish economist, politician and member of the European Parliament. Her mother, Teresa Rosati, is a fashion designer who created several acclaimed collections and carried important fashion shows in Warsaw, and was awarded by Polish Television. Young Weronika Rosati spent much of her childhood in the United States and in Switzerland. In 1990, back in Warsaw, Weronika Rosati began her studies of music, dancing and acrobatics. From 1998-2002 she studied dance and acting at Teatr Studio Buffo under Janusz Józefowicz, a renown Polish director and choreographer. In 2002 - 2003 she studied at the Private Acting School of Jan Machulski. Since 2003 Weronika Rosati has been a student at the Leon Schiller school of Film, Television and Theatre (PWSFTviT) in Lodz, Poland. She also studied acting at Lee Strasberg school in New York. In 1999 Rosati made her debut on television as Niki, a recurring character on Polish TV series "Klasa na obcasach" (1999). During the 2000s she has been credited as an actress in major Polish TV series, such as "Samo zycie" (2002) (2002 - 2006), "Tak czy nie?" (2003) (2002), "M jak milosc" (2000) (2004 - 2005), "Pitbull" (2005) (2005 - 2006), and "Majka" (2010) (2009-) to name a few. Rosati was later cast in Agnieszka Holland's "Hidden".
